JL Cares

JL Cares was established in 1996 by residents of Jonathan's Landing to encourage and coordinate volunteer involvement by our Members in the Jupiter community and to raise funds for needy area causes. JL Cares is a 501 (c) 3 tax exempt not-for-profit and has its own Board of Trustees.

Each year JL Cares actively supports over 25 agencies with volunteer work, cash gifts and grants. JL residents volunteer thousands of hours to local organizations that include: schools, hospitals, wildlife centers, family service, housing, learning centers, military assistance, church outreach and more. Additionally core projects each year at JLGC include a year round

JL Cares

Sandwich Brigade to feed the homeless, Thanksgiving and Easter Baskets     for the needy and the Angel Tree Project providing gifts to local children and seniors at the holidays.

Fundraising activities for JL Cares annually generate between $70,000 to $115,000, which is donated to 23 local charities and also supports our core projects. Each January we hold the JUBILEE Community Benefit Day at JLGC, a full day of activities at the Club ending with an evening gala, that is the principal source of donations to JL Cares and creates awareness for our charity efforts.

Volunteerism and helping others is an important part of the culture at Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club.
